2008 Edition

The twenty-eighth edition of the Festival of Medieval city was held at the city of Anagni, Monte San Giovanni Campano, Frosinone and getting the support of generous sponsors , such as Bank of Anagni, the City of San Giovanni Campano and the Province of Frosinone, whose contribution was essential to the realization of this important event. The program has involved artists of great renown, such as the violinists Uto Ughi, Francesco Manara and Roby Lakatos, the Orchestra Regionale Toscana directed by Vincenzo Mariozzi in his capacity as director and soloist in a concert devoted entirely to music by Mozart. The Festival also saw participation by artists such as Lello Arena, in his capacity as director and adapter de <<l’Histoire du soldat>>, one of the most important works of Igor Stravinsky 900 . The Festival also saw the main Nicola Piovani, one of the most successful contemporary Italian musicians, who performed his most famous compositions of film music. As always, the Association has reserved space for young people , such as the Orchestra Giuseppe Tartini , composed of talented musicians and violinist Irene Tella, along with the protagonist F. Manara violinist in a concert dedicated to all the music of J.S. Bach. The closing evening was devoted to literary works by Andrea Camilleri, with voice acting of the young actress Frances Georgina, Rocco Mortelliti libretto and music by Marco Betta.
